I offer clients a bespoke and high-level personal service that is rarely seen in today’s financial market place whilst taking the time to really get to know my clients before offering advice - this is why many of my clients come from personal recommendations.
I began my career working with NatWest Bank in 1978 based in the West End of London before being promoted to a senior position based in the City of London Office in Princes Street. I worked for NatWest for 25 years finishing my time at the flagship City of London Office.
In 2003, I joined St. James's Place, setting up an office at 32 Threadneedle Street, London, with two other Partners, giving me the freedom to work with clients to ensure that one-to-one specific financial advice is available to them when required.
This has continued following my subsequent move to our Westerham office in Kent, where my PA, Lisa Holliday, is also based. As well as Westerham, I also use an office close to my home. I’m delighted that many of my new clients approach me as a result of personal recommendation.
I am committed to ensuring that my industry knowledge remains relevant and current by placing strong emphasis on my personal development. This, along with the pride and dedication that I place on developing solid personal relationships with my clients, ensures that I am able to offer a rounded, professional and principled service.
I specialise in Personal Retirement and Investment Planning, as well as Family Protection. Many of my clients are City professionals and I therefore have an in-depth knowledge of their requirements.
I work closely with other specialists for more detailed Retirement Planning, Estate Planning and Wills*, and also mortgage finance.
Charity is also important to me and I regularly give / participate in events.
Outside of my business, I am a keen golfer. I live in Essex with my wife, Kerry, and have three grown up children and one young grandchild.
