I aim to build long-term relationships with my clients whereby not only do we work together over many years, we also get to enjoy the outcome of that advice as and when appropriate.

Every single one of our clients is a personal, family, work-related or professional referral. I have always believed that this is the fundamental cornerstone of a successful and trustworthy business in my industry.

About

Based in Gloucestershire in more recent years, I provide wealth management advice to clients both within the City of London, and more widely throughout the South East of England.

After joining the Financial Services Sector initially as a client studying at University and then as a trainee Adviser, I have managed to build a successful business purely through referrals and word of mouth. I truly believe that if we manage to do a good enough job for our clients in a professional, personal and friendly way, they will tell others. I am a staunch advocate that this is the only way to build a business within this sector that relies fundamentally on trust.

I am committed to ensuring that my industry knowledge remains relevant and current by placing strong emphasis on my and the team’s personal development. This, along with the pride and dedication that I place on developing solid personal relationships with my clients, ensures that am I able to offer a rounded, professional and principled service.

In line with my professional background, I have continually focussed on developing specialist knowledge and am now studying to achieve Chartered Financial Planner status. In addition, as an Appointed Representative of St. James's Place, my service is enhanced and complemented by the provision of specialist advice covering all areas of investment planning, Inheritance Tax planning and retirement planning, both personally and for businesses.

After almost 30 years in this industry, I am delighted that I am now advising many families (and business owners) over three separate generations. As succession and Inheritance Tax Planning becomes more and more important, the experience of these years has been invaluable, both for me and for my clients.

Outside of my business, I am a keen golfer (poor), skier (worse) and pride myself as an even worse amateur cook. Charity is also important to me and I regularly give / participate in events of all shapes and sizes, and I am fortunate that many of my own clients have supported these ventures over the years. I am also pleased to wholeheartedly support the St. James's Place Charitable Foundation and all its brilliant work.
