Having been with St. James's Place now since 2014, Laura, a former teacher, believes that we can all achieve greats things. She believes that financial advice is more than just numbers – It’s about living your best life now and in the future.
Having originally graduating as a Music Teacher in 1992, Laura was delighted to gain a place at the first cohort of the St. James's Place Financial Adviser Academy in Manchester in 2014. After completing her professional exams as well as intensive training, she joined Alan Rutherford Wealth Management where she was an adviser from 2018 till she started The Pike Partnership Ltd in 2024. Laura still sees her role as an educator, guiding clients through their journey of life, achieving goals with her by their side. Her mantra is ‘Talk, Trust, Transform’. Due to her background, she works closely with those who are part of the SPPA pension scheme, as well as individuals and business owners. She also runs Financial wellness sessions for larger businesses, as well as voluntarily teaches Financial Education in schools in the North-East.
She remains passionate about Music & Singing and has been integral in the creation of large choir charity events. She works closely with Voluntary Services Aberdeen (VSA), as well as the Friends Of Anchor in Aberdeen.
With her daughter by her side, she is very proud to have her own Practice – The Pike Partnership. In Partnership - working together with her daughter and all her amazing clients.
