About

Based in West London, Galina’s Financial Planning and Wealth Management practice has been representing St. James's Place and supporting clients based in London and the surrounding area since 2022.

As a working parent, Galina is acutely aware of the challenges many families face in balancing professional commitments and personal priorities. The importance of early financial planning and income predictability was highlighted by the COVID-19 pandemic. Galina is driven to help her clients arrange their financial affairs to secure their desired lifestyle and minimise the impact of life’s unpredictable twists and turns.

During several years as a Senior Investment Consultant at the International Wealth Management division of Credit Suisse, Galina’s interest and experience in multi-asset investments deepened. In recognition of Galina’s outstanding knowledge and expertise within the investment profession she has been awarded the Chartered Fellow status by the Chartered Institute of Securities & Investments UK (“CISI”).

In 2016 Galina was the Head of Investment Consulting UK where, together with her team, she managed client advisory portfolios for the UK domestic and international client base. Such experience is particularly valuable for UK residents who may have lived in more than one country and have savings and/or liabilities in multiple currencies, prefer to invest across global capital markets in different currencies, or simply have plans to retire abroad.

Galina’s financial services career began in 2000 on the prestigious JPMorgan Analyst Training Programme in New York, London & Geneva. Galina subsequently moved into an International Equity Capital Markets / Equity Derivatives sales role, but her solid foundation in Corporate Finance still enabled her to become a Deputy Chair of the Corporate Finance Forum Committee at the CISI in 2021. Galina was educated at the Bayes Business School (a part of City University of London) with a Bachelor and a Masters Degree.

Galina is married and has two children, who are keen young musicians. Galina’s charitable interests include supporting children’s education, animal welfare and human rights.
