I understand that everyone’s aims are different. Some people want a worry-free retirement. Some want to leave a legacy to loved ones, or to a cherished cause. Others want to ensure that they get the rewards from a successful business. I have helped clients achieve all of these goals, and can help you with yours.
I am a financial adviser who works mainly in the Hertfordshire area, predominantly in St Albans, Harpenden and Watford, and along with my team I help clients to achieve their financial goals, whether they are at the start of their investment career, or are seasoned investors. Much of my work comes through referrals from existing clients, solicitors and accountants.
Over my 20 years as a financial adviser I have worked on a wide variety of projects, from helping small business owners to set up company schemes to managing individuals’ inheritance tax. I also specialise in setting up trusts using investment vehicles.
I believe a good financial adviser should be a sounding board, a safe pair of hands, a trusted adviser, and someone who instinctively grasps a client’s hopes and dreams. When done with care, financial planning is a way to give you peace of mind, and to nurture you and your family so you can prosper in every sense.
I am also sensitive to the complexities of modern families, and am used to working alongside my clients as their situations, aims and priorities change. Indeed, financial planning is a lifetime journey for everyone, and I always ensure I review my clients’ financial picture on a regular basis to ensure that I am providing the best service for them.
Managing your wealth can be complex and time consuming. I can use my expertise to simplify your life, and to help improve your financial health.
I graduated with a law degree in 1997 and joined a graduate training programme to become a financial adviser, first for high street banks and since 2016 as a financial adviser. Over my career I have helped both private and business clients plan for their short, medium, and long-term financial security.
I always give considered, high-quality advice and won many awards at the banks where I worked, based on the quality of advice I gave and the number of clients I helped to achieve their financial aspirations.
I accepted the invitation to join St. James's Place Wealth Management in 2016 because I feel that the value, integrity and focus on client service which underpin St. James's Place chimes with the way I do business. I feel that the distinctive St. James's Place approach to investment management provides me with the ideal opportunity to provide my clients with an enhanced level of service.
The value of an investment with St. James's Place is directly linked to the performance of the funds you select and the value can therefore go down as well as up. You may get back less than you invested.

I know nothing about pensions. A simple conversation with Bina identified a need for me to protect my current financial situation and plan ahead.
