About

Being brought up within a family business I have had a keen interest in business and finance from an early age, setting up my first business aged 18. I then started my career in Financial Services in 1996 and I’m still just as passionate about it to this day.

With an active mind this time frame has also seen me set up and run other businesses, ranging from the importing and distribution of a medical device from South Africa, supplying charts and learning aids to the medical profession and schools, providing mobility equipment and scooters, becoming a major UK retailer of specialist seating.

The demands of my growing Financial Advice and Wealth Management business has led me to sell or move on from these endeavours, concentrating my time on Preferential Wealth Management for a better work:life balance.

Having noticed a propensity within the financial advice industry to concentrate on ‘selling products’, I now have quite a unique and refreshing approach, first establishing ‘how much do you need to have the life you want?’. It’s much easier to say than to establish, which is where I blend my experience and knowledge with technology, effectively building a business cashflow for people’s personal lives.

I believe it is only when this groundwork has been established, having identified how much is needed and when, that real financial and wealth planning can start.

With a growing business and numerous recommendations, it certainly seems my unique perspective resonates with clients.

My clients range from business owners, Directors, medical professionals and Accountants, through to people very much like myself; those looking to grow their wealth to reach financial security and peace of mind.
