I've been in financial services for more than 25 years, which still surprises me sometimes, if I'm honest! I started out in banking, which is where I really found my feet, before joining St. James's Place eight years ago.
I run the practice myself, supported by a paraplanner and admin team, which means I stay hands-on with my clients. I focus on building strong, long-term relationships with the people I work with, guiding them through their financial journey every step of the way. Building relationships based on mutual trust and respect is key when dealing with finances.
Setting up on my own was something I'd always planned to do, and I'm glad I did it. It means I can work the way I want to - properly, personally, collaboratively with the clients I build long term relationships with.
I take the time to actually understand people, explain things without the jargon, and help them make decisions at their own pace. Clients often tell me they feel calmer after we've spoken, which is genuinely what I aim for. I believe financial advice shouldn't feel overwhelming.
I see my business as a community, supporting clients across the Central Belt. While I’m particularly familiar with Winchburgh, Linlithgow, and the surrounding areas, I work with people throughout the region, building long-term relationships and providing personalised financial guidance.
Outside of work, I enjoy relaxing at home with my husband, keeping fit, spending time with my wonderful extended family and friends, and from time to time, going on holiday to recharge my batteries so I can be at my best for my clients!
