With over eight years' experience in the Financial Services industry, I have been working alongside John Scott Davidson and St. James's Place for almost a decade and can offer my clients a wealth of collective experience, and of course, the ongoing support of St. James's Place and their Investment Management Approach.
I aim to ensure that my clients are financially well organised, with clear and achievable goals, both personally and in the business arena. I believe that each should be treated as an individual and my tailored advice reflects this. I am focused on a need for intergenerational planning to help ensure that the wealth that is important to you stays in the family down the generations in the most appropriate way. I am currently working towards achieving the Chartered Financial Planner qualification.
I am a father of two. We have a six-year-old daughter and a four-year-old son, and we try to spend as much of our spare time together as possible. I moved to Edinburgh in 2001 and trained at the Drama School based at the Gateway Theatre and spent some years working as an actor in the theatre and a background supporting artist in television and film. I have a keen interest in sailing as a hobby and enjoy going to the cinema and film in general; although my children tend to choose what we watch these days!
