About me

“ I aim to be your trusted partner in creating clear financial solutions.”

There are two aspects to my Practice – Financial Planning and Performance Analysis.

Personal Financial Planning

I provide a personal service with advice in four main areas of financial planning:

  • Protection Planning – to help you and your family avoid financial problems should you suffer long-term incapacity or die whilst others are financially dependent on you.
  • Retirement Planning– so that you can enjoy a comfortable lifestyle when you stop working.
  • Investment Planning – to help you accumulate capital in a flexible, tax-efficient and suitably diversified manner.
  • Estate Planning – to help minimise Inheritance Tax so that, in due course, your family receive as much of your wealth as possible, yet without compromising your own standard of living.

I aim to help you to identify your financial priorities and objectives then develop a strategy which aims to achieve these goals within your desired timescale.

My advice will include Asset Allocation (prudent diversification to match your assets with your attitude to risk) and Tax Planning (to help minimise the tax you pay).

Performance Analysis

There is a huge difference between the best and worst performing funds.

By definition, at any one time 50% of investment funds will be under performing the market average. Some funds have a long record of under performance.

Most investors do not have the time or the expertise to analyse the quality of the funds they are using for their ISAs, unit trusts, life funds and pension funds.

We have the technology to identify past performance of most UK investment funds and I can tell you how your funds measure up and help you decide whether or not a change of fund manager might be wise.

The value of an investment with St. James's Place will be directly linked to the performance of the funds you select and the value can therefore go down as well as up.  You may get back less than you invested.

Past performance is not indicative of future performance.
