Practice Assistant in a busy Wealth Management Practice, Stirling

We are looking for a Practice Assistant to provide full administrative support to a team of Financial Advisers in an entrepreneurial and busy Wealth Management Practice in our Stirling office. This is an exciting time to join a dynamic and growing team!

The full-time position will allow the successful person a great deal of flexibility, but will also demand the ability to take responsibility for their own work and behaviour. We are looking for someone who is willing to work enthusiastically with the team in their daily activities in an environment where the clients’ needs always come first.

This is a great position for someone who is self-motivated, a competent multitasker, and does not require too much structure in their working day to maintain focus.

We will provide training and briefings in all aspects of the work. Excellent customer service skills and good computer skills are essential, as are high-quality verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills. We all work very closely together, putting our clients at the centre of our work.

The role will be varied and mixed but will include:

Client Experience: From the moment we have contact with a client they put their trust and their experience in our hands:

• Getting to know clients in order to anticipate their needs

• Diary management and appointment making (will not include cold calling)

• Meeting and greeting clients in the office, offering refreshments & making them welcome

• Leading the preparation for client meetings including any research that may be relevant

• Assisting clients’ day-to-day queries on the telephone, by e-mail, and in writing

Administration: Having attention to detail is an essential

• Providing full administrative support to the financial advisers, paraplanners and Practice Manager

• Management of office purchases & supplies, e.g. stationery and equipment

• Handling daily incoming and outgoing mail

• Keeping track of current work, making sure deadlines are met and reporting to the team

• Keeping spreadsheets and databases up to date
