The Purfleet Trust are a charity that supports people experiencing homelessness in King's Lynn and West Norfolk. Founded in 1993, Purfleet has helped thousands of people to identify a positive pathway out of homelessness.

Through Purfleet's Health and Wellbeing Centre, Purfleet support people experiencing homelessness with housing and benefits support, counselling, an on-site gym, skills workshops, and access to essential services such as breakfast and lunch, shower and laundry facilities, and regular clinical interventions including access to a nurse, foot care practitioner and mental health support. We also provide services that contribute to wellbeing including hairdresser visits, fitness groups and employability support.

The Purfleet Trust operate 6 Training Houses around King's Lynn supporting 30 tenants - helping them to develop skills and confidence in independent living. Purfleet's House2Home project supports people experiencing homelessness when moving into their own independent accommodation with packs of essential furniture and appliances - ensuring that their new accommodation is suitable for their fresh start.

In 2023, The Purfleet Trust launched their Purfleet Pantry project, which provides affordable food, essentials, and furniture to the community in South Lynn. In their first year of operation, the Purfleet Pantry helped over 3,000 people access these essentials, tackling the Cost of Living Crisis in our area.
