Jonathan initially founded Grosvenor Pitt in 2002, which later became Grosvenor Partners Financial Services in 2005. Jonathan has previously held senior roles with the RBS and Bradford & Bingley. He commenced advising clients on their financial needs in 1990.
Jonathan has held the Diploma in Financial Planning of the Chartered Institute of Insurance for many years. While being able to advise in all areas of Financial Planning, Jonathan has also been awarded the Advanced Pension Transfer Qualification (AF7) by the CII. This gives Jonathan the specialist knowledge and skills needed for advising on the transfer of safeguarded benefits, an increasingly important part of the advice process following the Government’s pension reforms.
Jonathan’s responsibilities within the Grosvenor Partners Financial Services include that of Finance Director and Technical Director. In 2017, Jonathan and Co-Director Darren were presented with the St. James's Place Foundation Award, which recognises monies raised and support given to the St. James's Place Charitable Foundation.
When not in the office, Jonathan is a keen golfer and enjoys being with his family — his wife Rachel and daughters Jess and Danielle.
The Partner Practice is an Appointed Representative of and represents only St. James's Place Wealth Management plc (which is authorised and regulated by the Financial Conduct Authority) for the purpose of advising solely on the Group’s wealth management products and services, more details of which are set out on the Group’s website www.sjp.co.uk/products. The ‘St. James's Place Partnership’ and the titles ‘Partner’ and ‘Partner Practice’ are marketing terms used to describe St. James's Place representatives.
