A Partner Practice of St. James's Place Wealth Management

Mackie Wealth Management

Greg Mackie

Mackie Wealth Management’s Principal accepted an invitation to become a Partner Practice of St. James's Place Wealth Management in late 2016.

We work closely with our clients to ensure they have clarity in relation to their financial planning objectives and we are committed to building long term relationships that ensure advice is provided regularly and updated where required.

Having a specialist focus on those in and using the Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence industry, this allows us to support individuals, solicitors and trustees with the financial aspects of the litigation process and in particular our understanding of an individual’s entitlement to benefits and the use of personal injury trusts can prove invaluable. We work closely with our clients to balance out their needs with the finances available to build a robust plan to provide real clarity and the likely life span of their funds.

Please take a moment to look through the pages of this website, where you will find further information on the wealth management services and areas of expertise provided by this Practice.

Based in Edinburgh, I provide wealth management advice to clients both within the City, and more widely throughout Scotland.

I have over 20 years’ experience in the financial services profession and am qualified to Chartered Financial Planner level and am also a Fellow of the Personal Finance Society.

I am committed to ensuring that my industry knowledge remains relevant and current by placing strong emphasis on my personal development. This, along with the pride and dedication that I place on developing solid personal relationships with my clients, ensures that am I able offer a rounded, professional and principled service.

In addition, I also provide specialist financial advice to recipients of personal injury and clinical negligence awards, including their families, and I have worked with a wide range of clients including minors and brain-injured individuals. I pride myself in providing advice tailored to the individual needs of each client, depending on their financial sophistication as well as the nature and severity of their injuries. My goal is to ensure they not only benefit from the best possible financial advice but that they feel informed and in control of their financial future.

Charity is also important to me and I regularly donate through the fantastic St. James's Place Charitable Foundation.

Outside of my business, I am a father of two girls and a son and love to spend as much time as I can with them. I am also a keen golfer and enjoy socialising with friends and family.

Prestigious industry status recognises the value I place on my development and gives clients the confidence that they are supported by one of the UK’s leading wealth professionals.
